Great Pressure Washer

The listing pictures need updated, I have included pictures of the product I received, I believe it is the updated model. This is a great pressure washer, and will last you many years if taken care of. The tires are never flats. The only downside to this washer is that if you want to start it after you have the water on, you need a helper to depress the trigger so it relives pressure in the system so that you can pull the recoil starter rope. The trigger gun is also very good, and will come basically assembled for you with quick connects. You will need to assemble the frame (very easy). It comes with cheap oil for the engine, put something decent quality in there Honda GX will last forever if well maintained.

Issues Getting It Started And Keeping It Running
By Jason M.

Review Posted 05/13/2019
My first weekend with my new pressure washer did not go as well as I hoped. After putting in oil, putting on the vent cap, and putting some gas in it I had quite a bit of trouble getting it started (I’m a fit guy in my late 30s). I even had issues with a couple times where it shutting off by itself after running for 5 minutes. Forget trying to get it started again after it was hot, not happening! Had to let it cool for a few hours each time. I must have pulled the starter 200 times and only successfully got it started maybe 5-7 times. When it ran it was sweet but it was a major pain otherwise. Spent a couple of hours trying to figure out what the issues was. Drained the gas I initially put in and tried again with ethanol free gas. Still had problems. I’m just hoping that next time I need to use it it doesn’t give me such a hard time.

Great Piece Of Equipment
By Jeff L.

Just finished using this for only the second time but I am extremely happy with the performance. The first use I washed a winter's worth of dried heavy clay and dried manure off the loader tractor and was very impressed. The second use I just got done washing fresh heavy wet sticky spring clay off the same tractor and it blew it right away. We farm and feed cattle on clay ground and end up with manure and lots of heavy clay mud stuck to the loader tractor when it’s wet out. Don’t look down your nose at the 2700 PSI, look at the 3 GPM it puts out. That combination blasts away the heavy gumbo very easy and quickly.
Unit shipped very quick, arrived in good shape and assembly was a breeze. Took care of the oil and gas and it fired right up. I’ve read all the reviews on the short handle and no place to store the wand and hose. Although those features would be very handy, to me, they are a very distant second compared to the performance and longevity of this piece of equipment.
I had owned a cheap pressure washer that didn’t last and rented nicer units with very similar setups to this and the difference is night and day. Of course, I had decided on a Honda engine with a CAT triplex pump and then read extensively on these things with regards to psi and gpm. After purchasing other equipment from PED and being treated very well and given great advice, I went straight to them for a pressure washer. After looking at washers in the performance range I thought I needed and asking a few questions that were answered quickly and professionally, I had it narrowed down to three units. I sent one last question to PED asking what their choice would be based on what I would be using this the most for and they said “hands down” this was their recommendation. This was also the lowest PSI but the most GPM out of my three choices. So far, I couldn’t be any happier. As long as it lasts like I think it will, this will be one the Best Buy’s I’ve made in small equipment. Thanks again PED.

I wash 50+ decks a season and on top of that 30+houses or drives- this little monster rips it up.
I've done seven since purchasing and am blown away every time. It's cut my wash times in half, I don't even have to get real close to the surface.
The best part is I can easily lift into my F350 Ford truck with a 4 in" lift.
Some reviews complain about a place to store the hose- a real professional don't care. Me and this little monster are going places $$$$$$$$$$. Not made for the weak at heart.

This seems to be a great product for the price so far. The features are no different than a regular cheap pressure washer.
We will have to see about the longevity of this pressure washer, and I hope that turns out to be a 5 because that will tell the true story.

I was a little skeptical ordering online but I could not find what I was looking for local at our big box stores. The unit arrived very quickly and packaged very well so no shipping damage.
I've only had time to use it one weekend so far and I'm very impressed. This is a nice and powerful pressure washer and I definitely would recommend and that's saying a lot for me because I have found it so hard to find almost anything of good quality anymore.
Two thumbs up!

Great Engine, Great Pump, Poor Frame
By Richard S.
atlantic, Pennsylvania
Purchased 06/13/2016 |
Review Posted 07/09/2016
I bought this pressure washer because I wanted a Honda GX engine and a CAT triplex pump. The engine and the pump have not disappointed me. The frame needs a lot of good old fashion shade tree engineering.
It seems that the frame was designed for a different engine and pump. I say that because the engine is mounted on the frame a bit too far forward which throws the whole machine off balance. The pressure nozzles are inconveniently mounted on the frame as many other owners have mentioned. Which indicates to me that the frame was originally designed for a different pump. For some reason a pump swap was used and the nozzles were never moved to the other side of the frame, sad, very sad. A small change that would be easy to accomplish during assembly.
Then there is the matter of the handle as many owners have mentioned, it is way too short and could be modified to mount wand and hose. The company response was that it was kept short to accommodate UPS shipping. Poor excuse! Many other manufacturers have overcome this limitation with hinged handles.
The instructions are also poorly done, again as many other owners have commented.
In summary, I bought this unit (my first pressure washer) for it's good engine and good pump. The frame needs to be redesigned. This leaves a sour taste in my mouth in what otherwise could have been a sweet machine.
I neither recommend or discourage you from buying this product. You decide.

Several Pressure-Pro models will share the same frame- I'm sorry you found this uncomfortable. Please be assured we will pass your comments along to the folks at Pressure-Pro. We are also working with them to make longer replacement handles available for those who wish to upgrade their units.

confused. have a flag lot with long drive, large parking area and two patios. All surfaces are poured concrete, Proibably 4000 sq ft. generally dirt, moss/algae and leaf stains, no paint or oil. Want something efficient with $800 more than I budgeted before doing research. Looking at Simpson 3228, concerned with pump and short hose and water flow. Pressure pro 2533, high pressure, low flow or PP3027 high flow/lower pressure.
Any significant jump in flow is out of my budget. Thoughts??

Two questions, what is the exact pump model? I'm having a hard time finding any CAT pump listed that is rated for 3.0 gpm at 2700 psi. Also what size tip orifice does it have? Is it a 3.5 or 4.0? I'm looking at ordering a turbo tip too and want to get the correct size. Thanks.
