Quincy has been around for a very long time. The 2-HP 20-Gallon belt drive portable compressor was built to deliver more air with a cast iron cylinder, crankshaft & valve plate for sturdy reliability that lasts and lasts.
This unit is perfect for small shops and devoted home craftspeople. It produces a much higher CFM - 7.1 CFM at 100 PSI to operate a wide range of air tools. With a low RPM, extra-quiet pump, plus aluminum head for maximum heat dissipation for a longer lifespan. The horizontal setup and fully enclosed belt make transport and storage easier.
Quincy offers a 1 year limited warranty. Covers both consumer and commercial applications. Extend this warranty to 3 years with the purchase of their EWK-1 maintenance kit.

Damaged!! Upon delivery, the plastic belt cover was broken. I ordered the compressor for work and it was delivered while I was out of town. My coworkers signed for it but never opened it. I discovered it was broken when I returned about a week and a half after delivery. Air Compressors Direct policy says I would of had to call within 5 days of delivery to report damage. I now have had to spend another $200 for 2 plastic covers to repair the BRAND NEW AIR COMPRESSOR.

This replaced a 20 year old Porter Cable airless compressor. This compressor is very quiet. I did have to tighten up some fittings but nothing major. Looking for many, many years of service from the little Quincy!

The Quincy Model Q12120PQ compressor is exactly the product I was looking for: USA made, oiled compressor, pressure gauges, quiet operation and easy to operate tank drain cock. I would have rated the overall value a five out of five if the first unit had not arrived damaged. It was returned and replaced at no additional cost to me but the added hassle and additional delay in its use was unnecessary if the first unit had been properly packaged. I believe the compressor will deliver many years of reliable service and hope fellow Americans make the effort to order a USA made compressor.

We have had problems from the start. The compressor works great for a day or two. Then the motor will draw over 50 amps and kick the reset button. Quincy has been out twice but still having problems.

Good compressor, quiet and ready to go out of the box. Remember this is a full 2 HP motor you will need a dedicated 20 amp circuit at the least. Motor can be wired for 240 volts, just put a new end on the cord.
