Quincy has been a leader in the industry since 1924. With that much practice you can get really good at building a quality product. They have high-efficiency parts, built for continuous duty, industrial use, and are ASME certified.
Quincy back their compressors up with a 50,000 hour- or more- pump life rating. You will spend more money up front, but in the long run (some Quincy air compressors are still running after 25 years!) it will be money well spent. Quincy QT is a standard duty air compressor designed to deliver more CFM per brake horsepower, ensuring the powerful, reliable performance you demand.

Great Air Compressor
By Scott M.
Alabama
Purchased 03/20/2025 |
Review Posted 04/17/2025

It is a great air compressor impressed with all the quality except for the paint. It is already peeling, which I think they could do better there with the price of the compressor. They could at least have it powder-coated, or something that would last I am disappointed with that fact

Good Compressor

Really like everything about the compressor. Just the quality of the paint was a little disappointing, it has some places where the paint was blistering on the tank.

Good Until It Wasn't
By Kevin F.

Purchased 11/30/2023 |
Review Posted 04/10/2025
I've been running my QT-54 in my home shop without issue for about a year. Yesterday at the end of the refill cycle, the relief valve on top of the compressor head started popping off repeatedly until the tank was full. Drained the tank and checked everything over, found a couple of lines and fittings loose, tightened them and restarted the compressor with the same results. If you could put me in contact with someone to assist in troubleshooting, I would appreciate it.

Keeps Up With Plasma Table
By Douglas W.
Wyoming
Purchased 03/08/2025 |
Review Posted 04/01/2025
Enough capacity to keep up with my CNC plasma cutting table. Only a couple small issues: no hourmeter and the brass outlet valve broke off during install. I got a stainless valve and an hour meter (to track hours for maintenance). Quiet operation compared to my old single stage.

Couldn't Ask For A Better Compressor
By Cory B.
Wisconsin
Purchased 02/17/2025 |
Review Posted 03/11/2025
We've been running it about 6 hours a day for 2 weeks now. Change oil once, ran oil through a fine filter for my curiosity, and completely clean. Very quiet for a reciprocating compressor. Tank pumps up in a few minutes from empty. It was shipped securely, bolted down to a well built pallet.

This is my 2nd one I have bought and we like them both. I build classic cars and I use the air compressor 10 hrs a day, we drain it every day to remove the water from the tank and we never have any issues.

Disappointed
By Al P.
New York
Purchased 11/16/2022 |
Review Posted 11/01/2024

Bought compressor in Nov 2022 installed new hour meter then set it up and started using it on May of 2023 thinking it would last me quite some time but with 11 hours on it, it locked up solid, checked oil full and clean. Pulled unit apart being no longer in warranty the crank and 1 rod scored bad with no help from Factory. Trying to get replacement crank and rod but price I found online is outrageous, getting quote from local parts dealer for Quincy now from Gartner equipment I'll let you know how that goes.

Delivery was prompt and in good condition.
The tube from top of tank to switch and gauge leaked air on initial startup. Contacted customer service who gave me contact info for local company for warranty work. That was a bit of a challenge but within a week they came out and repaired it. Overall very happy, pumps up fast and is very quiet.
