These pumps are meant to be a direct replacement for a Powermate compressor. We currently do not have a cross-reference document on our end to see if this pump could work as a replacement. However, Powermate can assist further with this. They can be contacted at 888-895-4549.

Will this work with a 3 HP, 3450 rpm electric motor?

The HP of the motor is fine, but you may need to change the flywheel on the motor for this pump. I recommend calling Powermate's tech support number at 888-895-4549. They will be able to inform you if the flywheel needs to be changed and what size you would need.

When you are looking at the front of the unit, the flywheel will be rotating clockwise. If you are on the backside of the unit (the belt guard side) it will be rotating counter-clockwise.
