Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Sump Pump Expert
Will this pump system work for a 950 sq.ft.house? It has 3 sinks, 2 toilets, and 1 shower with a max 2 ft lift and 200 ft horizontal run to gravity 6" sewer.

Answer
Based on your description, that Liberty P382XPRG101/A1 Grinder System would certainly be a good fit for you. Please be aware, however, that IF you are installing this system outdoors, you would need a different high water alarm.

How do I figure out how far a sewage pump will push horizontally? I need 5' of rise but 250' of travel. Thanks!

Answer
Hi Matt, that's a great question! In most cases we don't get the actual lift and distance needed. We usually just get something like, "how far will this pump pump my sewage?" Assuming this is for a typical residential application, you would need a good 1/2HP to 3/4HP sewage pump for your distance. If you prefer a "grinder" pump, then the Liberty 1HP ProVore will definitely handle the job for you. Just make sure that you pipe it with 2" PVC all the way out.

Answer
While these are designed to be installed in-ground, you definitely want to have access to the basin for service and maintenance. You also need to install them per the INSTALLATION MANUAL and you local code.
