Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Sump Pump Expert
For a sink sump pump installation is their a studor vent or air admittance valve that can vent a sump pump?

Answer
Thank you for your interest in Sump Pumps Direct.
Per the installation instructions for the Liberty 404 Sink/Drain Pump System:
Provision is made for a vent stack to allow extra volume for high suds conditions, and to ensure proper drainage of the fixture. HAND-TIGHTEN ONLY. DO NOT CAP-OFF VENT. DO NOT use ONE-WAY QUICK-VENTS or AIR ADMITTENCE VALVES as they will not guarantee proper fixture performance. The vent pipe should have a union to facilitate removal if required and shall be connected directly to a building or house vent.
This is pretty standard for all of these systems.

Hello, does this come fully assembled? All I have to do is connect the drain and discharge and plug it in?

I need a pump for putting a washing machine in the basement (drain line 6 feet above floor) is the "Liberty 404" suitable for this?
Also, where must the "vent" be routed to?

Answer
Definitely! The Liberty 404 is specifically designed to be used for a remote sink drain or a laundry application as long as the water temperature does not exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
Per the product manual:
Provision is made for a vent stack to allow extra volume for high suds conditions, and to ensure proper drainage of the
fixture. HAND-TIGHTEN ONLY. DO NOT CAP-OFF VENT. DO NOT use ONE-WAY QUICK-VENTS or AIR ADMITTENCE
VALVES as they will not guarantee proper fixture performance. The vent pipe should have a union to facilitate removal if required
and shall be connected directly to a building or house vent.
