Karcher Follow Me 1800 PSI (Electric-Cold Water) Pressure Washer

1800 PSI should do a good job on household cleaning- please make sure the unit is getting enough water by using a 5/8" garden hose no longer than 50-75 feet long connected to city water.

Any detergent you use needs to be labeled as "pressure washer safe" since it will be drawn through your pump with the stream of water. It needs to be thin enough for the water to pick it up- watery is good; thick like dish detergent won't work.

Wood and cement respond to different cleaners. I like the
Simple Green Deck & Fence Cleaner since the 1 gallon jug makes 11 gallons of detergent when it's properly diluted. Be careful cleaning wood with your Turbo nozzle- the spray is intense enough it can mark the wood.

Even though it's biodegradable, give all your landscaping a good drink of clean water before you use the detergent; it will help keep your leaves from browning.

For concrete I like Simple Green Concrete Cleaner, not only because you get a lot of detergent for the money once it's diluted, but also because it works well. Pre-treat stains and oil with the detergent and let it sit for a bit so the detergent can bring the stain to the surface; then use your turbo nozzle to blast the stain away.

You might like the results from Karcher's T300 Surface Cleaner on concrete- it leaves a smoother finish than you can get with your regular spray nozzle.

Under the Accessories tab on the K3.00 page we show the MTM Hydro Foamer For Karcher Electric Pressure Washers. It comes with the Karcher bayonet adaptor to twist and click into your spray gun just like the spray wands.

I'm sorry, but there isn't an adapter that I know of that will change the Karcher bayonet connector to a quick connect.

It does state in the manual: The connection between connection line and extension line must not lie in the water.

You also need to ensure you are using the proper gauge of extension cord so that the motor does not get damaged on the pressure washer.
For under 30 foot extension cord use 14 gauge.
For 30-90 foot extension cord use 12 gauge.

The simplest method is to turn the unit upside down and place your thumb between the two halves of each wheel and press each in place.

Karcher is the only brand that is able to do this. We sell a kit model 2.642-743.0 that makes the Karcher Electric Pressure Washer able to pull from a standing water source. If this is the kit you bought, I would like to give you a couple tricks to get it going.
Completely submerge the hose until the air is all out and it stops bubbling. Turn on the unit so that the pump starts working. Connect the hose until the pump stops humming then place the hose in the bucket so that is continues to have the positive draw.
For brand new units this will not happen instantly, I do recall waiting several minutes for this to take. (It can seem like forever) Hold the trigger gun and squeeze the gun to allow water to flow through the unit. After you have a positive draw the unit works just like it does when it is connected to a hose.
