Will this work on consumer electric washers (AR 383)?
Tyler
from
March 18, 2012
Answer
No, this high pressure soap nozzle will not work on the AR383 or any consumer grade electric model that comes with plastic bayonet style fittings. Only AR accessories will work on AR pressure washers due to their very unique connection fittings that they use.
With the AR383, there is no attachment or way to spray detergent at high pressure.

Does this nozzle take the place of normal nozzle at the end of lance? Will I need to use normal nozzle for pressure washing?
Bob K
from Pennsylvania
September 28, 2011
Answer
In a sense, yes this nozzle will replace a standard spray tip. Meaning, you can spray detergent thru this nozzle and then close off the detergent flow thru the adjustment knob and spray just high pressure water. This nozzle produces a cone shaped spray pattern unlike the normal fan spray pattern that a standard spray tip would.

Do you have any videos or pdf files explaining how this (General Pump High Pressure Soap Shooter Nozzle with Rinse Capability (#4.0) hooks up to your pressure washer?
Glenn Taylor
from South Carolina
May 26, 2011
Answer
Honestly, you really don't need a video. This is going to hook into the end of your lance the same way one of your other nozzles would. You then take the other end of the siphon tube and put it into a bucket of detergent and water and the siphon would pull it from the bucket and go out the pressure washer and that is it. If you have more questions, you can call and talk to us about it, but it is as simple as that.
Thanks,
Pressure Washers Direct

Yes, you could definitely use bleach thru this GP high pressure soap shooter nozzle. You are correct, the chemical will absolutely not affect your pump, hose, or gun if you were to use bleach with this type of injector.

Bill, I just bought a used Coleman Powermate 2750 that works really great. I would like to know how to use the chemicla pick-up system. The pick-up tube came with it and looks like it's never been used. I have a two story house with mildew on the North and West sides and need to apply chlorine mixture. Please tell me just how to use the system. Thank you very much in advance.

Answer
With a siphon hose chemical injection system, you can only apply the detergent at low pressure. To pull the detergent out of a container, you have to attach the black "detergent" spray tip to your wand. You will not be able to pull detergent using any other high pressure spray tip. If you happen to have an adjustable spray wand, you have to rotate it to your low pressure setting.
If you need to reach 2nd story levels with detergent or you wish to apply detergents at high pressure, you could always purchase a high pressure soap shooter nozzle. I posted a link below to the item:
I'm prepping my house for sale. Will the Briggs & Stratton Model 20418 be enough to clean the outside of a two story house?
William Sumner
from North Carolina
March 27, 2011
Answer
Yes, this model pressure washer definitely has enough pressure to accomplish what you are trying to do. The recommended size pressure washer for your application is between 2600-3000 psi. Remember, you can only spray detergent at low pressure so you might have to use a ladder to reach the higher levels with detergent.
You can also purchase a high pressure soap shooter nozzle that allows you to increase the distance of your spray and allows you to spray detergent at high pressure. I posted a link to the soap shooter nozzle below:
