After first cut I'm excited about my purchase. It applied an even cut and the maneuverability is outstanding. Great price for this machine that cut my time in half.

This mower has tons of power and speed. In fact, the top speed (4) requires the operator to jog to keep up with the mower - speed 3 is a nice brisk walking pace. It will take a little getting used to, especially compared to the decrepit old mower it is replacing. The cutting path is nice and wide and it just eats up the job in no time. It's been raining since the mower arrived, but this beast of a mower has no trouble going through thick wet grass - just what we needed.
The deck washout / hose hookup is pretty ingenious and will make it easy to keep the mower clean and looking like new for a long time.
My only complaint is that the instructions for the side bagger very clearly showed the bag mount going INSIDE the control panel casing on the upper handle. However, when you position it this way not only is it extremely difficult to get into position, once it is there the drive engage and blade engage cables rub hard against the panel edge. Apparently the instructions are for a different model or version. Since it was clear that positioning the mount under the control casing as shown wasn't correct, we re-mounted the bagger positioning it OUTSIDE the control casing and it fit perfectly.
All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and with the service of Mowers Direct. Being able to pay with a check to save a little bit off the total is a nice touch.

Great improvement on the older model bag. A lot tougher material and reinforced in all the stress points. Wish it was a little bigger capacity, but overall a good accessory.

A Great Machine

Arrived yesterday right on schedule. Biggest job was getting it out of the crate. Went together very easily and up and running in 20 minutes. It has all the power I need to manage and mow one acre +. It's very strong on the slopes and produces a very even cut once you decide on your cutting height. Takes a little while to get used to the speed and knowing which gear to choose but once you've mastered this along with the power, mowing will take a lot less time. Controls are very easy to use and accessible and gear changing very easy. The reverse is very helpful if you get into a tight spot also.
You will not be sorry you purchased this mower.

I went from a 21" walk behind mower to this monster. It has cut my mowing time from 3 hours - between cutting and bagging the clippings- down to less than 90 minutes.
It was a challenge getting used to the speed and power of this but definitely worth it.
I highly recommend this to anyone.
