Don't waste your time

Bought this from Sears it's the platnuim series if that makes a difference. Had it less than a year and it won't charge nor will it pull start. Now I have a $350 lawn ornament. At that price I could by a new price of junk from Walmart each year for th next three years. Thought craftsman was supposed to be good

Don't buy this mower

This is by far the very worst mower I've ever owned. The 'self-propelled' feature is a joke...it can barely pull itself forward on the sidewalk..in a real lawn.. forget it.. it's PUSH HARD all the way. So far the charger and the drive cable have broken and been replaced. No more repairs.. I'm shopping for something reliable that propels itself. I owned nothing but Craftsman for 25+ years...my last one wasn't great but this one convinces me never ever again. I'll buy anything but Craftsman from now on.

DON'T

Walk on by this piece of junk, the self start feature is super flimsy, the controls are difficult to use, and the self propelled feature is crappy. No wonder Sears is on the way out, this rivals the Yugo for worst engineering.
