Engine has been OK but needs a shot of starter fluid on occasion, and I'm a mechanic. The unit is rusting apart after 5 years. When it dies, I'm going with Toro - like all my neighbors

This snow blower is awesome, my neighbor bought the same one 2 years that I used, since I moved away this year, I needed one so I purchased the same one.
I have not used it yet this year, but from previous years that I used the same one it gets the job done with ease.

The little 22" Ariens worked great, easy start and easy to operate. It needed chains so I purchased a set and now I'm ready for the next storm.
What I'm most impressed with is the service I received. I was amazed at how quickly it was delivered and when I needed help picking the right size chains for it, I called and the service person was helpful, polite and spoke English. Thank you.

Put the blower together with no problems...directions were good...Day before Thanksgiving received about 4 inches of wet snow here in CT.
Once I got the hang of it, I was able to clear my 200 foot driveway pretty quickly. The tires spun a little at times, but otherwise it did the job well.

Blower arrived without delay. Easy enough to uncrate and the instructions easy to follow. After assembly and adding fuel, it started right up.
Seems like it will work well on removing snow, just haven't had the chance yet.

Aside from the hour and a half it took me to put it together (I'm not that skilled with small engines) I'm very happy. Didn't know if it shipped with oil in it, turns out it was, so I added too much oil.
Absolutely blinding headlight. Would be better if there was a switch or if it could be directed down more by adjusting it.
Biggest complaint is that I've only gotten to use it once, I'm actually wishing for more snow to use it again.
So far, really happy.

The replacement has 6 forward speeds, 2 reverse, headlight, and enough engine so I can't hear anything. Ariens if you reading this I can effectively put the snow from my driveway on my neighbors roof. Well played Ariens well played.

I bought this because it was made in USA trying to help the cause . I will never buy through the internet again with a purchase like this . Because if you have problem with the snow blower . Who do you bring it to the deals put you on the back burner . Because you did not buy from them . I had a major gas leak coming out of the fuel bowl area . Also the other issues were. The adjustments from forward to reverse did not work , I did not save reverse . The adjustment to of the belts NOT good all loose and slapping around .
