Could Be Beefier
By Jeff B.

Great running, easy to start, and easy to use. I have had my tiller over 4 years and the handle is made of the thinnest steel possible, so I’ll do have to order a new one eventually. The local welder told me he could try to tag it and that it would not last long if I didn’t. He welded it in place and added support, but it still let go in less than a year. Still a great product, but it would be awesome if it were beefed up.

SOOO GLAD

So glad I bought it, could not find this tiller at the stores with the Subaru power house engine. I got in three days from Tillers Direct. Set it up, started right up and used it four times already. It just tears up the dirt. Love it, best tiller I've owned.

The tiller starts right away and works really well. I researched a lot of tillers and I'm glad I picked this model.

Ariens Tiller

I tried to buy one of these tillers with the Subaru engine in 2012, but they were always out of stock. I placed my order and the tiller was delivered on the fourth day. Assembly was quite easy, but I elected to use locking nuts so I won't worry about loosening due to vibration. The engine started on the third pull, and starts on the first or second every time after. Transport was easy and the speed was about the same as all these type of tillers. I've used the tiller for about four hours total, but so far I am very impressed. As long as you are gentle, it shifts easily, and it does a remarkable job considering the size of this little Subaru engine. I plan to keep this baby a long time. Way to go Ariens, and its made in the USA!

Taking a chance 2

I have a Ariens rear tine tiller and after reading Teds Review I ordered one . I was not sure just how Ted hooked his up but I removed a bolt that separates the two depth drag bars, drilled it to size and bolted it up. Works fine but I will still need to make a few adjustments to the drag bar. Thanks Ted for your help.

Ariens roto tiller

I bought this tiller to replace the Ariens tiller that I had for 26 years and is still working. This tiller appears to be just as well made and I like the fact that I can have the tines spin either forward or backward. It leaves the soil well tilled and smooth with very little that needs raked.
