eComfort.com has added smart ceiling fans from Big Ass Fans® to its lineup, offering homeowners a convenient solution for comfort and improved air quality. The i6 Series and Haiku Series of fans come in a wide variety of finishes, styles, and functionalities.

The Smartest Fans Out There
The fans use the patented SenseMe™ technology, transforming them into smart devices compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control setups. Temperature, occupant, and humidity sensors monitor the fan’s surroundings and automatically adjust motor speed depending on current needs, making the fans the most energy-efficient on the market.
The fan’s “Sleep Mode” functionality optimizes fan speed at night while “Whoosh Mode” simulates the feeling of a natural breeze in the room.
All smart functionality is managed via the mobile app, which allows users to control the fan and schedule temperature, brightness, and color settings (if light kit is included). Integration with ecobee smart thermostats is also possible (Haiku only).
Good for the Air
Certain Haiku Series fan models include UV-C technology, which uses light in the ultraviolet spectrum to kill 99.9% of pathogens in the upper-room. The fan circulates upper-room air past the UV-C fixture and returns cleaner air to the occupants below.
The UV-C fans are a great option for those concerned about indoor air quality in their home or office, particularly when multiple people utilize the same space. They can even help reduce the spread of illness by inactivating viruses in the upper room.

Made from five-layer Moso bamboo or aircraft-grade aluminum, Big Ass Fans products are built to last. Airfoils are aerodynamically designed for maximum airflow with minimal wind resistance or noise.
