It's a good product. Wish I had thought of it instead of what I tried to produce. It's a winner!

Purchased at Home Depot. At first it seemed to be everything it was advertised but as the season went on the battery would not hold a charge long enough to complete the yard. This Spring when we charged the battery it wouldn't operate at all. We took it back and were actually the third person that day to come in with the same trimmer and same issues. They wouldn't do anything for us. I would not buy another WORX product.

Worx Doesn't Always Work
By Joe G.

Review Posted 08/08/2012
I bought the WG150-1 as a replacement for an existing trimmer.
While the trimmer itself is okay, the battery packs are duds at best. Mine will charge (I have three of them) but will not hold a charge. It takes all three battery packs to trim around the edges of about a quarter acre.
MD RESPONDS: You might want to give the folks at Worx a call, toll free, at (866) 788-7394 to see if they have any tips on getting better performance out of your batteries.

This is the old line Dont believe the picture
By M

I always loved my Worx GT trimmer, it created a sharp crisp line on the edge every time. Did not love the Ni-cad battery, but that's another story. Anyway, they have now replaced the nice double helix line with an extremely cheap knock off. It does not produce the same clean cut it used to. I have recently order 2x six packs of line only to get the cheap knock off. It has devalued what was once a quality product.

Bad Battery
By Elyse

Review Posted 08/05/2011
Very disappointed. Worx owes me a battery that works! I purchased this trimmer about 2-12 months ago and it has never held a charge more than 20 minutes. That is not enough time to do a full yard.

Lousy Battery
By M T

Review Posted 07/06/2011
Purchased the Worx Trimmer a year ago and like so many others who responded to the reviews the battery does not last. They die as fast as the second charge and they are not cheap. Even the new replacements I purchased died in short order. Great performance when the battery is charged but the battery performance is equally bad. I would not recommend purchasing a Worx product that runs on batteries.

Batterty does not hold a charge
By Fran

Review Posted 06/08/2011
I have had the trimmer for two years and have done what little trimming I could while the charge lasted. I was going to order another battery just to get more done until I read the reviews. Now I'm afraid of getting a battery that is even worse than the one I have.
