Troy-Bilt Super Bronco Reviews & Ratings
Going back to front tine tiller
By Ben J.
dry creek, Louisiana
Review Posted 04/06/2016
Got from Lowes. Have had for 1 year now. Very poor design. Wheels are to close to tines. Dirt gets packed between the tiller frame and the wheels and under the gear box causing the tines to raise up.
This happens every few feet. If the ground isn't level it will not till straight. Going to switch back to a front tine. I would only recommend this tiller if you are tilling soft, lose, level, dry soil.

Twice Failed

First purchase at Lowes 3/15, hard to start & carb. leaked fuel. Took it back 4/15. Exchange unit worked fine, a bit under powered, but ok. With less than 4 hours of use, the transmission seals let go 6/15. Lowes rep had complicated the first return making the second return difficult. Finally got my money back.

Great Little Tiller
By William L.

Review Posted 05/28/2015
Ordered and it came in 5 days. Trucker brought it into my garage. Assembly was 1/2 hr. Started right up. Tills great and easier than my old 220 lbs. Sears. The free wheeling with pins is a pain.

Pros:
Easy To Use, High Quality, I'd Buy It Again
Waste Of Time & Money
By Jim

Narrow width, shallow depth, flimsy handle construction add up to an inadequate machine that wanders and has a flimsy handle which will bend easily if you try to correct direction. I would rather let my ancient monkey wards front tine beat the crap out of me because at least after a few hours the job is well done.
