I live in NNY and bought this machine in 2015, it has not let me down. Easy start and easy to use, great on fuel and if you need handwarmers, stay in the house.

What A Machine

Bought this machine from Lowes several years ago. When we get snow in Michigan we get a lot overnight and it may snow for several days. The first year we had an overnight snow of 24". This machine went through it like a warm knife through butter. Still starts on the second pull and have never had to use the electric start. Excellent machine. The guy who says that it is under powered, not sure what he is talking about. I have exceeded 18" snow depth and this machine has never stalled nor wavered. Well over 600 hours of use and no issues.

Dropped the ball

I own a Troy-Bilt Storm 2620 (26") 208cc Two-Stage Snow Blower that I have purchased from Lowes a few years ago. As far as snowblowers go it is I think it is a OK model for the price but I would not buy another one. My biggest complaint is I believe that the motor is undersized for this machine. Troy Bilt along with a lot of other companies (Ariens, Cub Cadet) always used BRIGGS & STRATTON engines.

Now save money and help their bottom line, are using a cheaper Chinese knock off motors manufactured under their own name. To me this just another way that the consumer is getting ripped off and does not see if coming. Troy-Bilt Storm 2625 (26") Two-Stage Snow Blower with a 243cc for the same price of the Storm 2620 (26") with a 208cc advertised on your website???

Purchaseed last year I live in wi. We had our first snowstorm this year 1 foot of heavy snow worked great girlfriend also used it she had no problems starting and running it.. The only thing I wish it had is a handle control for end of chute for the distance. Highlly recommend buying one worth the money.
