Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Sump Pump Expert
Will this pump work as a sewer ejection pump for a basement bathroom or do I need a 'grinder' pump?

Answer
Hello Bryan. In most cases, a standard SEWAGE PUMP will do the job for you. If however, you expect problems from people flushing something other than normal sewage, like baby wipes, towels, feminine products, etc., a GRINDER PUMP would be more effective.

Can the on off level be adjusted? I am pumping from a 4' dia tank and I don think I want to displace that much water into my leach field at one time.

Answer
The nice thing about tether floats is that they are adjustable. There should be a clamp holding the cord and float in place near the top portion of the pump. By simply shortening or lengthening the cord attached to the float, you can shorten or lengthen the run time of the pump.
