Makes Quick Work of Snow
By John G.

I've got about 100 foot single car-width wide driveway that's tucked between 2 houses. Needless to say, I have to be a little particular of where I throw the snow. For year's I've used a tractor with a blade, but I needed to make a switch. This snow blower worked on the first pull and has every time since. It makes quick work of snow. The ability to change the angle of the chute on the handle is a huge benefit. The only down side is that is doesn't always lock in and has a tendency to move. My driveway is partially concrete and gravel. Works well on both. Have to be a little careful, though, on the gravel--even when the ground is frozen. Because it's been so cold this winter, I haven't had any experience with the wet snow yet. Seems like the engine will handle it.

Handled 12 inch storm without any hesitation. I purchased the larger cc engine, and could not be happier. Very well balanced weight distribution makes it easy to handle. Starts 1st or 2nd pull every time, electric start not needed. Quick delivery, would buy again.

It was delivered a week earlier than what I was expecting. Setting it up was not a problem, tighten 4 bolts on the handle and that's all the mechanical set up that was required. One minor point was how much oil to put in it - the container of oil that came with it was 19 ounces, not wanting to over fill it, had to search through the specifications booklet to determine that the maximum oil to fill it up is 20 ounces, so just empty the full bottle in it and it's at the proper line on the dipstick. Put a half gallon of gas in it, turned the key to On, turned the choke to Max, 3 pumps on the primer button, and it started on the second pull. Let it run about 15 seconds on full choke, then set it to the normal run position, it ran perfectly.
The next morning it snowed another 5 inches here in Indianapolis, and in less than 10 minutes my driveway was cleared. I cleared 3 of my neighbor's driveways just for the fun of it. What I really like is the lever that rotates the discharge chute from one side to the other, instead of having to rotate a hand crank through several revolutions to switch sides. It will throw dry snow about 15 to 20 feet, but only about 6 feet for slushy wet snow, but that's still better than hand shoveling. I've used it about 6 times in the past 3 weeks and have not had any problems with it.

Well we finally had enough to use the blower in Maryland. Easy to operate. I was so happy with it I did three extra driveways in my neighborhood.

I live in Buffalo and I received it on a day with 8 inches of snow. What perfect timing. It took me less than 15 minutes to put together and I was on my way. It started on the second pull and it threw snow great. In fact my neighbors Toro broke down that day and I let him use it and he couldn't believe how light this machine was. Great machine.

I have used the snow blower just once but it did a very good job on the 6 inch's of snow that was very light and dry hope it does the same in wetter conditions.

Was able to dig out some 5 foot drifts with it and able to dig through where street city plows blocks your driveway as they go pass and leaves a high curb of hard ice and snow.

Bad Instructions

When I ordered this on Sunday, it said it was back ordered, on Monday, I had an e-mail that it had shipped. It was on my front porch the next day! That's fast, I was not expecting it until next week. Awesome snow blower. We paid much more for a Toro at work, and it only has a 141cc engine, and it hardly throw's the snow anywhere. I am very happy with my purchase!
I have a big two stage blower, but it is getting hard to handle as I get older, this thing is MUCH easier to use, and the big 205 cc engine really throw's the snow!

First Start Was A Scare

Filled with gas, primed twice as directed. Tried electric start multiple times with no success. Probably took half the life out of the starter. Primed again, still no start. Let sit several hours thinking it might be flooded. Tried again---no start. Primed again---no start. Waited until next day. Tried to start with no success. Primed again and it finally started. Should have pushed the primer about 10 times the first day. It now starts as it is supposed to and sounds good. I hope I didn't put too much wear on the electric starter. The blower sounds good . I'm anxious for it to snow enough so I can try it out.
