Scotts 415-16S Reviews & Ratings
Scotts Elite

I decided to try an "American" lawn mower this time around because it was $20 cheaper than the comparable Scott mower and because it was advertized as "made in USA."
The American mower is okay but not as good as the Scott mower. I can't complain, I saved $20 right? But if I had it to do over again, I'd buy the Scott.

Worked reasonably well for five years in South Louisiana where summers are long and hot and rust is prevalent. (I sprayed it with silicone spray or WD40 between uses, no other maintenance).
By the fifth year of use, the blades got dull and mower would flatten some tall weeds instead of cutting them, then weeds would pop back up and I'd have to use hand clippers to get rid of them. Apparently this happens with all lawn mowers, however.
In spring of year five, the handle broke due to metal fatigue.
I feel I got my money's worth.
