Good Pump
I have had the pump for about a month, and it works great. Installation was simple and changing from the 230v to 115 was an easy process. I installed it in less than an hour. The only negative that I saw was that the cavity for the electrical wiring was small and offset which made feeding the wires a little cumbersome, and the wiring posts didn't include the nuts to secure the wiring. About 50% of my installation time was spent on finding the correct size nuts. But all in all I would recommend... more
Pros: Easy To Use, Quiet, Price, I'd Buy It Again
Cons: Wiring cavity

Wayne Wls 150 Pump Has Bad Impellers
I have bought 5 Wayne pumps in last 2 years. Only 1 is still working 3 of them broke the impellers even though I filter the water ahead of the pump. New impellers are $88.00. The last 1 had electrical problems and 1 is still working. Do not buy wayne wls pumps.
Pros: Easy To Use, Quiet, Price
Cons: Unreliable, bad impellers

Roger,
Thank you for the feedback. You might consider upgrading to a pump that has metal impellers.

Roger,
Thanks for the feedback. While WAYNE pumps do not have metal or brass impellers, they are reinforced and ultra durable. I am sorry that you've experienced issues with the impellers on our WLS series pumps. Please reach out to us directly at ReviewMgr@waynewatersystems.com, so we can discuss replacement options.

Good Pump Lousy Wiring Instructions
I had a master electrician look at the wiring diagram. Even he was not sure of the proper wiring without checking the conductivity with a voltage meter.
Pros: Price, Reliable, I'd Buy It Again
Cons: Bad Instructions

Best Made Pump
I've owned this model pump for about 15 years I'm talking the same pump. I pump dirty irrigation water. Through a self made poultry wire filter that keeps out crawdads and debris. This pump powers 7 pulse sprinklers, and 3 open hoses at the same time at 30 - 40 psi. My lift is about 6 feet. I live in the desert of Arizona, so pump is wired for the 220 volt option. This keeps the pump running cooler and draws less amps. The only thing I've had to replace is the impeller, forgot to drain... more

Sprinkler Pump Nightmare
Purchased a 1.5 hp pump in 12/2012 but was unable to install tell end of the month. No only was the electrical abnormally made difficult by "wire nutting" instead of hard wiring capabilities which also include a very small area in which to cram all the wires, but the pump would not operate even with the aid of a self flowing aquifer, deep well here in Florida. Perhaps I just experienced bad luck but I invested a great deal of time and was very disappointed. I am currently still... more

Wayne Sprinkler Pump
I had no problem installing the pump. Now my yard is getting the water it needs, the grass is getting green again. But now I gotta cut it.
