2.Motor mount bolt not installed found in bottom of box
3.Generator would not start,no electrical power.After many hours of searching found 2 of the three wires on the back of the off/on/start switch not connected.
4.The generator now runs but the idle control is not working,next step is to remove the control panel to see if the wires are connected.
THEN WHATS NEXT? Generac apparently has no effective quality control in place.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the generator right out of the box. I have heard of the switch problem before and have brought it up to Generac. According to the Spec Sheet the unit should have been bonded also.
I recommend reaching out to Generac directly at 888-436-3722 to let them know how you feel about the product and also to let them know about the issues with their Quality Control. Generac would like to hear from the end user of the product when things like this occur.
