Pretty Good Performer
I purchased the 1700 and it performs well. It needs training wheels to get it to stand upright.
The hose connection is hard to reach to fasten the hose easily; it should come with quick disconnect fittings. It could be a little more user friendly.
Overall a pretty good performer for the buck.

From the advertising I thought the pressure wash detergent was part of the unit; it is not. You need a product with built in detergent holder. I would not buy this product again AS YOU DID NOT ADVERTISE THE 50 FT HOSE REQUIREMENT! I NEED AT LEAST 100 FT TO COVER WASHING MY HOUSE SIDING.

I understand that you're disappointed, so I checked the page we show for this product. Under the Features tab, we list "23 Foot Spray Gun & Hose Assembly" in bold print. Under the "Specs" tab we list it as a 20 foot hose, since we didn't have a 23-foot category & would rather under-state a feature than over-state it.
I also checked the BD1700 Spec Sheet that you can download under the Specs tab- it's what we used to build this page. It says "On-Board Detergent Tank" so that's what we used.
With respect, there isn't a consumer-grade pressure washer in this price category with a 100 foot hose. The pump won't put out enough pressure for it to clean effectively after pushing water all that way. You may want to break your house washing project into smaller sections and relocate the pressure washer to go on to the next section- this will also avoid burning up the unit.
