I have a 20 foot generator cord. Reliance Controls PC3020 20Feet 30 Amp L1430 Generator Power Cord for Up to 7,500Watt Generators. it is too short. Can I buy a second 20 foot cord to extend the original to 40ft? is this safe?

I'm thinking of buying Reliance 30amp/10circuit switch model# 31410CRK & a 40' power cord. Does power cord come in longer length? Will there be any power loss with 40'(or longer length) cord from 7000W portable generator to switch? Thank you
