Can I reduce the outflow down to a half-inch pipe about 30 feet long with no rise?

Answer
I would NOT recommend it Doug. Reducing your discharge diameter that much will only result in extreme backpressure to the pump and eventual premature failure, which is NOT covered under the warranty. You should not reduce the discharge diameter by any more than one size (i.e., 1-1/4" to 1") and only if absolutely needed.
