Q: Hi Bob,
I have a Husqvarna 350, 52cc.
Is there a PowerSharp Starter Kit available for this saw?

by Scott Emge from Montana on July 03, 2016

A: Oregon does not offer the 350 Powersharp option just yet. My guess would be this is a 3/8" pitch saw and if so then Oregon is working on this, but has yet to come up with options for saws with 3/8" pitch.

Q: would this fit a stihl ms291 chainsaw?
by Gary from Pennsylvania on March 26, 2016

A: Gary,

Unfortunately the PowerSharp Starter Kits we carry do not fit Stihl chain saws.

This link takes you to the PowerSharp Selector Guide.

Q: hi there i have a husqvarna 445 and i want to know if there a oregon sharpener for my model
by Juan from Florida on October 14, 2015

A: Juan,

No unfortunately this kit will not fit your 445 saw.

PowerSharp® is currently available for 3/8" low profile pitch, .050" gauge saw chain.

Q: why do you need the bar and chain, can't I just purchase the sharpener?
by Jack from Tennessee on February 08, 2013

A: Jack - the PowerSharp sharpener system will only work with a PowerSharp bar and chain. The PowerSharp sharpener will not work on a standard bar and chain. We sell the starter kit because if you don't have a PowerSharp bar and chain on your chain saw now, you need to change it out first so that you can use the PowerSharp sharpener in the future. We do not sell the sharpener by itself.

Q: I have a Poulan 18" saw. Does your starter kit come w/ the chain, bar, and sharpener?
by Rob from Tennessee on October 16, 2011

A: Yes. The kit comes with all three items. Chain, Bar and Sharpener.

Q: Hey Michael, I have a Echo cs 400, i like the 18" bar i have on it but it did not come stock, will the 18" bar and chain work on it? Thx in advance
by Seth Carlson from Maine on September 25, 2011

A: Yes, according to there website, it will work.

Greatest Invention Ever
I purchased this for my Husqvarna 350 and it doesn't fit.
So I'm looking for my smaller chain saw to see if it might fit that.
Overall I think this will be great. So make sure you have the right size chainsaw before you buy.
Thanks, Dave H.

Does Not Fit Poulan Pro
I specifically stated I had a Poulan Pro w/ a 20 inch bar on it. I was told we could put the 18" power sharp on it. Ordered. It came within 3 days, but the bar/chain will not go on our Poulan Pro. Very disappointed.

Powersharp Does Not Fit Stihl Chainsaw
I bought this sharpener for my husband for Christmas. The ad said it fit most chainsaws. I did not know it would not fit Stihl. I called and asked to return the PowerSharp and gave them the email address at work for return info. I was on 2 weeks vacation at the time and by the time I got back to work it was too late to return the product.

Therefore, I think Oregon is a rip-off. What am I suppose to do with this product that is not compatible with my chainsaw? I will not be purchasing... more
