BOLINGBROOK, IL (May 13, 2019) - A Missouri riding mower buff is seeing green this spring after winning $500 in the Mowers Direct video review contest.

The competition gives customers an opportunity to win $500 by posting their honest and informative product reviews on YouTube. These video reviews, which show the products being used in real-life applications, are featured on the Mowers Direct website, where they help other shoppers make informed decisions.
The latest winner is Perry P. of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, who provided a review of a Cub Cadet XT2 lawn tractor.
“Perry’s video does more than showcase the features of the Cub Cadet XT2,” explained Jake Woltman, product expert at Mowers Direct. “It shows people exactly how the XT2 looks when it’s delivered and what he had to do to remove it from the crate and get it ready to use."
He continued, “Questions about shipping and delivery are some of the most common questions we get about large products like lawn tractors. A video like Perry’s that explains to customers what they can expect is incredibly helpful.”

Speaking about his new tractor, Perry said, “The Cub Cadet XT2 46-inch is very powerful with the 24-horsepower engine [and] hydrostatic drive. With the foot pedal reverse, I can continue mowing and never take my hands off the steering wheel to go forward or reverse, which is a big plus.”
