I bought the Bolens MTD version of this same tractor. It has no idler pulley on the drive belt, and no adjustment, either.
It worked okay until the belt loosened. To change the belt I had to bend tabs, then the rear belt slipped after 1500' and jammed into the new drive belt, breaking the rear belt.
Now I'm in a quandary as to either buy a new rear drive belt or put a rag into the gas tank and light it.
