Are hydraulic quick couplers supplied with the saw? If so please identify the type, style and size. What is the average run time based on bar oil when running at 5000 RPM?

Answer
Mike,
The hoses have threaded ends but couplers are not included.
The oiler is automatic and only runs when the saw is on and the oil comes from the tractor's hydraulic system. They are preset and one should get about 400 cuts, running in 10 second intervals, to a quart of oil.

will this operate on a excavator

Answer
Jimmy,
Yes, Limbsaw controls the flow rate to 7 gpm's with valves. They are being used on excavators. Remember that we are using the boom of whatever piece of equipment as our extension of the saw. Therefore when placed on a limb we are not putting down pressure on the saw just letting the saw free float through the cut. Hope this is helpful and if you have any other questions just let me know.
