What's the difference between the BTS and the BFS MODELS

Answer
Rich - the only difference in these two units is the location of the throttle control lever. The "T" model has the throttle control mounted on the blower tube. The "F" model has the throttle control mounted on the frame. The tube mounted throttle control is the more popular of the two.

What are the pros and cons of having the controls on the tube compared to having on the frame? Is the Husqvarna built in China? I am concern of the quality of their products. My Husqvarna weed trimmer was made in China and I have had lots of problems...

Answer
Paul,

The switch control on professional models is strictly a preference issue. If you have used one or the other you may feel more comfortable with what you are familiar with. Since they don't make a backpack blower for lefties, many left-handers choose frame mounted controls located on the left side of the machine. Personally, I prefer the controls at the tube. It just feels better.

All of the backpack series are built here in the U.S., in Nashville, Arkansas. The engines are made in Japan for Husqvarna.
