My First Husqvarna Mower
By Rosito

Review Posted 06/26/2012
I live on a 1 acre parcel half of it is planted with mango trees and royal palms. I had a 22" craftsman mower to do the mowing which was ok but this Husqvarna runs much better. The maneuverability and ease of operation are also much better than my old Craftsman mower.

Good Choice On My Part

Review Posted 04/06/2012
Just got my new mower Thursday 4-5-12. Live in Western Montana. Got the mower out of the shipping carton. Very easy and the machine was ready to roll. Added my gas and it started on the second pull. Runs nice and smooth. It's a little sluggish going up the hill in my yard, but other than that, I'm very happy with the mower. Thank you and Happy mowing.

DO NOT BUY THIS

My last lawn mower I had for 12 years, I know how to maintain a mower. I have had this machine for 2 months now and there has been nothing but trouble. The rear deflector is cheap and fell off day one. The pull broke in the first month. The spring part not just the cord. The mulcher blade is soft and does not mulch well. Machine does not have enough options on height so you are either too low and stopping the blade all day or too high that you have to go back a mow two days later.

Handles well, but still issues
By Denny R.

Review Posted 07/10/2011
Just bought my mower this weekend. I like the way it handles but, I do have some issues. It was a 600 self propelled. 149cc. It did not have a side discharge. The mower locks up when you pull it backward. There is way too much vibration in the front end of the mower. I am still trying to figure that out. I was mowing a yard that was not that long and when I did not use the grass catcher, I had little balls of grass accumulate on my yard.

I can not say I am 100% happy with the mower. I have a Husqvarna back pack blower and it has been one of the best blowers we have ever had. I think the mower needs a little research on the things that I listed above. I will probably keep the mower but, it could use some research and development. I would not recommend the mower but, would recommend Husqvarna equipment. This is the first time I have not been 100 % thrilled with their product.

Test Drive

I bought my HU6OOL 3 weeks ago. Started on the first pull. I like the power and torque, rear wheel drive is the only way to go. I have a small hill in my front yard so need to go up and down it a lot. It is night and day better than my old craftsman with front wheel drive. I put on full power and walk right up it no pushing. I removed a wheel and Yes! - real steel bearings not plastic that falls apart after a year. The hose washout helps but you still do have to do better job. I also like the one handle lever to raise and lower the whole mower.

Things I did not care for are: Speed control only for bigger hands, even though there are 2 speed control handles - one for each hand. It takes a considerable amount of pressure to hold them down as you mow. Hands gets tired on large yard. The rubber drag bumper on the back is a pain especially when backing up, probably a stupid safety thing.
