Ok, But Not Great

I wanted to purchase the same model of Earthquake tiller I had purchased from you about 5 years ago but find it is no longed available. Bummer! That tiller is far superior to the Husqvarna I ended up purchasing and both are priced the same with equivalent specs. The Husqvarna appears to be built exactly the same as a Craftsman tiller I owned 20 years ago. It isn't a bad tiller, but after owning the Earthquake I know what a good tiller is. The spike that grabs the ground on the Husqvarna is held up by a metal clip when not in the down position and the metal clip is awkward to clip to the spike and will likely break off in time because it did on my Craftsman. Also the base creates a lot of torque on the handle and there is already a lot of play in the handle which over time gets worse. I expect the Husqvarna will provide several years of service but already can tell it doesn't operate as smoothly and effectively as the Earthquake model I still use.

So far amazingly easy to start. Actually starts on first compression stroke when I get all correct on my end.
Wish the main controls were easier to see /understand (on/off, choke etc.).
Surprised that the handles are so high, and cannot be set at a lower height.
The belt squeals more than I'd like.
Overall, runs well, gets job done. Meets my expectations--good buy.

Had some hard ground in my back yard. This tiller ate it up for lunch. This is a great tiller for the money. You can't beat it - "awesome."

I purchased a new tiller after my old one died after 26 years. I'm very impressed with the Husqvarna. The power it shows is shocking. I wish this was around sooner. I hope this last as long as my last tiller!!

So far so good broke up hard ground with roots yesterday Husqvarna ripped it up fast, just hope chain drive trans holds up. Same trans I had in last tiller where motor outlasted transmission.

Reasonable tiller

They're not as heavy as I'd like. Fine for previously tiled ground, not a good sod buster. Starts easy, runs nice, easy on gas. No fault other than it is what it is so there's limitations.
It's a 7 out of 10 overall. They're just not built like they once were, same as with anything else.
