Love this mower!

I am 74 yr. old granny who bought this mower in August 2013. I just had to replace the battery and it started right up. I purchased the mulch plug because emptying the bag from while seated is impossible and the bag gets quite heavy when full. The mulch plug has been a blessing.

Now I will be changing the spark plug if I can locate it. The size of this mower is perfect for getting it back into the barn it's kept in and gates, etc. Seat is comfortable. Overall, I love it. (I also have the Husqvarna AWD for doing close in trimming. Sorry to see they have discontinued this model.

Don't buy this mower

Who ever designed this mower should be shot. The bagger is a poor design. You can't cut without it on. Grass blows out of every hole in the body. Hard to shift, backfires when shifting, the bagger is heavy cumbersome and hard to empty into a barrel. If you live bordering a place where you can dump the grass then this is the bagger for you. If I dump mine I then have to pick it up and put it in a barrel for pickup, twice the work. I have to take off the bagger to fit it in my storage area, the grass fills every nook and cranny on the grated backside of the mower. I have to shopvac it every time or it will stink up my garage. Did I mention I hate this mower and I am trying to return it. 21 days, and I can't wait for them to take it back. Less work for me to use my walk-behind self propelled.

Husqvarna SRD17530

Overall, this is a good tractor and mower, starts and runs well with good power, and has a comfortable seat. There are just a few cons. Chaff blows out through the gearshift and height lever holes, making it a dirty job (especially with dry grass). Clutch release takes some getting used to so as not to jerk-start (popped wheelies the first few times I started out). I hope Husqvarna makes a mulching plate soon, as I may not always want to bag the clippings. I like being able to dump the bag from the seat, but chaff also leaks around the dump lever. I chose the 30" mower that doesn't have a protruding bagger tube, because it will fit through my back gate.
