I'd buy the 48" next time
By Phillip D.

I've had my 46" Husqvarna five years. When I first purchased it the front steering was not greased. I took care of that. I've done basic general maintenance since. Never had any problems. Only observation is the grass was never getting cut 100% flat.
This issue due to the cutting deck lower and raise mechanism. They dealt with that issue on the next size up 48" mower with 2 adjustable shafts underneath are standard on the 48 inch allowing the deck to be adjusted from each side. Still love the unit. Next time I'll by the next bigger mower.

Awful

My husband bought this mower thinking Husqvarna was suppose to be a good brand. This mower never worked correct from the beginning and we had it maintained but still was not right. Engine blew on us after 8 years of having this mower. Should have lasted longer than this especially since we only used it to mow and never used it for anything else.

242 hrs on a motor that was taken care of better than it was ask for, changed oil ever 35 hrs after breaking. Motor blew up ! Body and deck are fine. Put a Briggs V-Twin on it NOW WE'RE REALLY MOWING. Search this motor is cheap made. My lawn mower buddy had many of these engines sitting around blown-up! It is the Courage that is not a good engine.

Solid Workhorse!

I've had my Husqvarna for two years and it's been great.
I bought a front loader for it and have moved 75 cubic yards of mulch around the property with ease.
The Kohler engine is STRONG and has easily handled everything I've had to do. The hydrostatic transmission is the only way to go!!

Nice mower, good cutting

It's a nice looking mower. The 20 HP engine seems to be strong- it did not lose power in thick grass, did a 46 inch cut and cruised on quarter-acre lawn.
It came with a cracked plastic grill from the seller, but I will replace in the future; so 4 stars because of cracked grill, but a nice mower.

Lose the Kohler engine

The first two years my only complaint was the cup holder was on the wrong side. It's on the discharge side and dirt blows up into my drink cup. Other than that I enjoyed using the mower.
The third year has been a nightmare. Three trips to the repair shop for the first oil leak and now it is back in the shop and needs a short block (rebuild the entire engine.) Always buy the extended warranty, I'm sure glad I did.
I might consider another Husgvarna, but I would go with the Briggs & Stratton engine.

Good mower
By Thomas Ballard

I like the mower, it's easy to work with and the bagging system works fine.
The only problem I have is trying to find blades- not many choices. Can not find a heavy duty blade anywhere. The OEM blades are not heavy enough.
