Who fixes the mower while on warranty?
Chantel
from Nebraska
April 26, 2016
Read Response +
Answer
Chantel - the Honda warranty is a nationwide warranty, so you can take the mower to any Honda authorized service center in your area should warranty repairs ever be required. We have a link at the bottom of our web site for "service centers" if you want to find the closest Honda authorized service center in your area.

Is this mower front or rear wheel drive?
Jim
from California

Answer
Jim - the Honda HRR216 series mowers are rear wheel drive.

If you want to discharge the grass, how does that work? Is there a side discharge?
Brian
from Florida
January 22, 2016
Read Response +
Answer
Brian - on the Honda HRR216 series mowers, the discharge function is through the rear of the mower deck. To discharge clippings to the rear, remove the grass bag and leave the Clip Director lever in the BAG position. The shutter door on the rear of the deck (where the bagger hooks on to the mower) stays slightly open, and the grass clippings are discharged out from there.

What is the cost of the leaf shredder attachment
Dan
from Alabama
May 10, 2015
Read Response +
Answer
Dan - the current model HRR216 series Honda mowers (K9) have a re-designed mower deck that does not accommodate a leaf shredder attachment. If you have a 2013 or older Honda HRR216 mower (K1 thru K8 in your model number), then the leaf shredder attachment will fit up to your mower: leaf shredder

What does 4-in-one stand for?
Jacob
from Colorado
August 05, 2013
Read Response +
Answer
Jacob - a 4-in1- mower has the capability to bag, mulch or discharge grass clippings, as well as shred leaves in the fall if you require this functionality. The leaf shredding attachment is not included and would have to purchased separately: leaf shredder

What is advantage of brake clutch? Your opinion: Is electric start necessary based on supposedly easy pull start?
Buster Burkhalter
from Louisiana
February 28, 2013
Read Response +
Answer
Buster - the brake clutch feature allows you to disengage the mower blade and stop it from turning without shutting down the engine. On a mower that doesn't have this feature, when you let go of the bail to disengage the mower blade, the engine shuts down as well. There is no need to restart the engine with the brake clutch feature. As for the electric start, that's all a matter of convenience. Older folks and users who have bad shoulders or hands love the electric start. If you don't have issues with pulling the recoil starter rope to get the mower running, the electric start feature probably isn't for you.
