Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Water Pump Expert
I need to replace an irrigation pump that draws from a lake. Existing pump motor is a Baldor Industrial Cat. No. JL1323A. 3HP 230V 13amps 3450 rpm 60HZ 1phase. The setup is outside which leaves it exposed to the elements of Texas weather.

Answer
Vernon,
All pumps that we sell here are going to need a vented housing for the Sprinkler and well pumps.
Before I can answer your question, I would need to know the following:
Total head (suction & discharge lift)-
Total pumping distance from the water source to the pump and from the pump to the furthest sprinkler head-
Piping diameter on your suction and discharge (if already laid)-
Total GPM & PSI requirements-
Once you can provide this information, I'll be happy to assist you further.
