What is the battery, NiCd? This does come with a charger doesn't it? The specs here on the website doesn't cover this.

It has a powerful 18 volt 17 AH NiCad battery, and it comes with its own charger.

Mike Can I use my 18v Craftsman batteries #130260001 with the Earthwise CPS40108? Their battery BP92001 appears to be very similar. Thank you for your time in this matter. John P.

You had better check with the folks at Earthwise first. Just give them a call, toll free, at (800) 633-1501.

Even if the battery fits, you want to make sure you won't void your warranty or damage the saw by using it.
