Product QuestionsAnswered by Dale, the Snow Blower Expert
I was researching the cub cadet snow blowers on cub cadets site, and found they offer what is called an HD version. The snow blower you have listed here is not the HD version, is that correct? And if this is not the HD version, do you have the HD version for purchase?
Chris D.
from Kentucky
September 19, 2015
Answer
Chris - the Cub Cadet 3526SWE we are selling is the standard model. The "HD" version of this snow blower can only be purchased from a local Cub Cadet dealer.

How difficult is it to assemble?
Wayne K.
from New Jersey
August 08, 2015
Answer
This is about as easy as it comes. After the unit is out of the crate. The handle bars need to be pulled into their upright position, tighten down the bolts/wingnuts and then attach the chute and chute rod and you are in business. These units come with oil already in them (Always check, just in case), add fuel and you are good to go.

What is better steel or polymer chute with wet snow?
Don Bachman
from Michigan
November 23, 2013
Answer
Don - you will find people who like steel and people who like polymer when it comes to dealing with wet snow. My preference is for the polymer chute when dealing with wet snow, but either way, you'll most likely need to treat the discharge chute with a non-stick spray to fully prevent wet snow from sticking inside the discharge chute.

Bob,
How will this machine perform on an unpaved drive?
Al Openshaw
from Minnesota
November 09, 2013
Answer
Hello Al,
The Cub Cadet (26") 357cc Three-Stage Snow Blower is designed to clear the heaviest of snow on even unpaved surfaces. As you lower the skid shoes, it will raise the auger so that you are not forcing rocks through the impeller as well.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you and have a great day!
