This is a powerful 357cc engine.its competition only has 302cc and they throw the snow quite a distance. There is a gap between impeller blades and the housing because it’s cupped allowing the blade to chop the snow so it doesn’t get jammed it can be adjusted by tightening the impeller cable slightly or making sure your belts and auger pull is in the correct position the loosen after time. Some people put impeller kits in the blades to make snow throw farther but it throws it plenty far and has the more powerful engine. Adding the kit will make the snow go farther but it may also put wear on the belt pulley and bearings because it’s designed to chop up the snow. It works fantastic in Buffalo snow and we get a lot. I am very happy with the power and clearance it throws the thick deep snow.

Had this model for 8 years, and it always starts with one pull, even after sitting all summer. It throws snow 45' and never has a problem with the mounts the snow plows leave at the end of the driveway.

I’ve been waiting for 6 months to try out this snowblower and finally we got 14 or 15” of the heavy wet stuff. This machine cut though it without bogging down and threw it plenty far to get it away from the area for future snow removal. My atv plow has a rough time getting this type of snow far enough from the driveway to keep it clear. All of the controls are in the right places and turning it is a snap with the handle mounted individual wheel levers. It works well on our gravel surface. I would tell anyone to check it out, I compared several machines and ended up with this one for a reason. I didn’t waste any money here!

The snow blower arrived on-time in excellent condition. Put into service with ease just before the first big snow. Pleased with the quality of the machine, how it easily handled snow removal. I'm very satisfied with the purchase and with my SnowBlowersDirect.com interactions. Two things which could improve the function of an already excellent blower 1) a fuel shutoff valve, and 2) a little more speed in reverse.

LovI love the product. It came mostly assembled, just needed to spend 20 minutes unwrapping from the crate and finalizing the handles, a few cables, and the chute. Started right up, and it runs well. It will be a great asset when the heavy snow hits. Snow Blowers Direct was a great company to deal with. My package arrived as scheduled and well-protected.

I order the tailgate lift with the unit. The delivery truck would not come on my driveway but the driver had a manual forklift and we rolled it up and into my garage. It took over an hour to get it off the pallet and to get all the material prepared to be taken out for normal garbage pickup.
Setting up the snow blower was a breeze and it only took about 20 minutes. Lifted up and bolted the handles and mounted the shoot.
The only other adjustment I made was to level the skid pads and to slow the speed down a bit (which I did not have to do). I only used it once on about 2” of snow and it worked great.

I bought this blower being that it is almost 14 hp, I was sure it would throw snow. It does not!
They designed this poorly! There is a full over a 1-inch gap between the thrower cover and the 3 blades that throw the snow making it not throw the snow not very far at all! Boooooo!!!

I live here in Western Minnesota where snow blows and packs in. I was actually wanting it to SNOW so I can try it out. Made moving snow easy again. One big plus is how it launches snow 30 to 40 feet. I have a long gravel driveway and it did everything it advertised it would do. I would never go with another brand. Snow Blowers Direct is cheaper than the store I was going to buy from. I am a review reading guy and I do my research and it has paid off with this snow blower.
