Product QuestionsAnswered by Dale, the Lawn Mower Expert
Regarding the MySpeed, does it require me to exert a minute amount of 'push' for it to engage, or does it operate with a squeeze motion? I need my mower to pull me up the hill, similar to my current Snapper.
John P

Answer
John - Cub Cadet's My Speed drive system engages when the drive control handle is pushed forward. If you walk faster, the handle is automatically pushed further forward and thus the speed of the mower increases. If you slow your walking speed, the handle is pivoting back and the unit slows down. If you stop walking, the lever automatically moves to neutral and the unit stands still.

Hi
Is the my speed drive system similar to the Toro Personal pace mower?
Joe

Answer
Joe - yes, you are correct. The Cub Cadet MySpeed™ self-propelled drive system is similar to the Toro Personal Pace system in that the MySpeed™ will automatically adjust the mower’s pace to your walking speed. The mechanics of how the MySpeed system works is different than Personal Pace, but the end result to the operator is a very similar experience.
