Product QuestionsAnswered by Joshua, the Air Compressor Expert
What is the gallon/tank limitation for the motor/pump on the 10020C? For example, can this unit be interfaced (via a jumper hose) with a 15 gallon air tank from an older air compressor?

Answer
The general rule of thumb that we use (there are others "out there" on the web), is to say you need approximately 5 gallons for each HP. So, this unit is properly sized as it is. If it were a higher HP unit, then I would say that there would be no problem using an auxiliary tank, but at this lower HP, I'd stick with the standard configuration.
