I'm finding the pattern for the 2000 Series Cub Cadet 54" deck does not match my Cub which has the heavy duty cub deck. The shape of the deck is different from the "stamped" out decks and the deck adapter does not fit over the deck. If you do try to mount it making sure the adapter is flush with the bottom of the deck, there is about an inch of the adapter sticking up past the top of the deck. There is also a different type of stabilizer bar that is bolted under the opening unlike the stamped decks. Can this still be modified somehow to fit the heavy duty deck? Thanks for your time.
