Q: I have a AR 383 and i need an extension, which one can I buy?

A: This extension model PW3300 and PW3310 are only for use with the AR brushes and surface cleaners. The only wand extension we carry that can be used with AR brand pressure washers and will accept the existing spray wand from the machine is a model # PW3082860. This extension is 15 inches long and multiple extensions can be connected together if needed. Just keep in mind, the longer you go, the more pressure loss you would notice. With just adding 1 extension piece, you would not have to worry about losing any pressure at all.

Looks Like A Great Product.
It looked very promising. The only problem was I didn't fully understand it's use. Thought it would allow me to reach higher areas, problem is I can't find an 11mm threaded adapter to connect the spray wand to the extension wand end. The one bayonet end connects to the pressure washer handle/trigger female connector using the male bayonet end(very good).

The opposite end will not accept the male end of the washer/pressure nozzle, that is where the 11mm threaded end is. Need an 11mm threaded... more

I'm sorry you're having problems using this extension wand. An earlier review had a response for a customer with the AR390SS which might be helpful for you, depending on which pressure washer you have.

The folks at AR say "Extension kit is designed to work with our fixed brush attachments. It is not intended to use as a HP lance extension. Call 866-235-5112 8-5pm M-F if you need more information on how to use this extension kit with your AR390SS."

If you have a different machine they would still be able to help. I've also added that information to the Features for this accessory to help others.

Does Not Work With Model Ar390ss
I purchased this as an accessory for The AR390SS I just Purchased. There is no way of using these extension wands with the AR390SS.

I am sorry you're having issues with the extension wands. The page for the AR390SS says that you'll need an adapter to use the rest of the Blue Clean accessories (PW3082750) and I see from your order that you also purchased the adapter.

When you wrote to us on 3/11 asking how to use the adapter, we responded with "Thanks for the inquiry. You will remove the current threaded lance on your unit. You would screw the adapter in where the current lance was. This would make it a bayonet connection in which you would attach the extension wand to. Any questions, don't hesitate to give us a call at 800-710-7499." If you didn't see our response it might be in your junk mail folder.
