Search Marketing Analyst


I. SUMMARY OF POSITION

This entry-level analyst position, you will be involved in the creation and optimization of our Paid Search and Organic Search campaigns. Duties include keyword research, keyword generation, creating ad copy, bid management, tracking performance, and other related duties.


II. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
    • Conduct keyword research, selection and creation for pay-per-click campaigns
    • Execute these campaigns accurately and efficiently
    • Proactively make strategic campaign recommendations
    • Utilize bid management tools to maximize the effectiveness of PPC campaigns
    • Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates
    • Generate and deliver performance reports
    • Internet research, including competitive analysis
    • Link building initiatives
    • Other projects as assigned

Successful candidates should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

    • Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
    • Proficient in Excel
    • Strong problem solving & data analysis skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills both verbal and written
    • Basic knowledge of some aspects in search engines (Google.com & Yahoo.com), website design, web-programming, and searching on the internet is desired
    • Prior search engine marketing experience a plus
    • A self-starter who can work independently, but thrives in a team atmosphere
    • Interest in power equipment helpful
    • Other relevant education and/or experience may be substituted
