Norm Is Absolutely Right!
Second year using this powerful lightweight blower. My mother bought this on the recommendation of a friend who owns many rental properties before a big storm as a surprise for me. At first, I was somewhat disappointed that it was in her trunk (I expected it to be a big one).

After ten minutes of operation, I was very impressed with this 37lb mighty mite. Proper oil ratio with new fuel starts with two pull every time with choke on high and two primer pushes. Very easy to get into tight... more

Could Consumers Reports Be Wrong?
I have owned this lightweight gem of a snow blower for over three years and love the machine. It is lightweight as promised- only 37 pounds w/o electric starter.

It starts easily and makes little smoke when the correct fuel mixture is offered (50:1). Too much oil and it will smoke a bit. It is easily lifted while running to a porch by grabbing the handle and the discharge chute handle.

This year, so far I have gone through more than two gallons of fuel and cleared numerous walk paths,... more

Wow! I Have 7- 8 Years With This Model
I had this model for 8 years. I needed a lightweight powerful machine and this was excellent for all of the eight years I've used it. 3 weeks ago I needed repair for the first time because it would not start. I took it to SEARS and that was a mistake. They obviously have issues with repairing a machine that is discontinued as well as not their own. I loved my little powerhouse of a snow blower but I'm afraid it has outlived its usefulness after 8 seasons. Sears diagnosis: Needs new... more

Fantastic Little Machine
I have had mine for about 8 years. Always started easily. This season I have had problems starting but after replacing an obviously old plug, it started on the 1st pull. Here is hoping it lasts another 8 years!! And for its size, it does a wonderful job of snow blowing!

Junk Piece Of Equipment
Good thing they discontinued this piece of junk. IF you can get it to start you will get good service from this device BUT I have had mine for three years and it has not been reliable AT ALL. I also made the mistake of using my electric start and found out that if you crank for more than 10 seconds you may burn it up. $200 later the unit will be ready for winter with a new starter and tune up(even though it had only been used 10 times). Today I went out to start it and once again it would not... more
