  1 Question
Q: What does 3/8 pitch mean. Is that different from standard chainsaws?
by Donna Bannert on May 31, 2011

Chain pitch is the distance between any three consecutive rivets divided by two. Pitch defines the size of the chain. Husqvarna chain is made in several pitches - 1/4" is the smallest, 3/8" is the most popular. Other parts of the cutting elements are pitch-related. The drive sprocket must be the same pitch as the chain, and so must the nose sprocket in sprocket-nose bars.

My First Choice
Great power and easy to start. I bought it to prune and trim, however because it has so much power it has become my first choice unless I am cutting beyond 12 inches.

The first time I used the saw was this weekend......starts great....idles very nice... good power.

I think what impressed me the most was how little gas and oil it uses.

So far I think it's a great product....thank you.
