Happy Stormpro Pumper
I was using a 1/3 hp sump pump purchased at a big-box retailer rated at 2700 gph at 10 feet of head. The pump was unable to keep up with the inflow during a recent monumental rain. Fortunately my backup and primary running simultaneously were able to keep even, but together they could not drain the pit. Finally A Switch That Works!
On a daily basis we get phone calls and emails about float switches. Most float switches are prone to failure because they have moving parts parts.

Maybe the float itself breaks or maybe it gets stuck and your pump burns out or you end up with a flooded basement. Something had to be done about that.

Metropolitan Industries decided to do something about switch failure. They have created the world’s first digital level controller for use with residential sump and sewage pumps.
