First Time Use Of The Snow Joe Ion Snow Blower
I had a opportunity to use my snow blower for the first time yesterday when we got about 3-4 inches of snow. It was quite easy to use and did the job quite well. I was surprised how maneuverable it was for a machine that is so light. My neighbors were impressed as well. I highly recommend this snow blower.

Costs Too Much For What It Does!
I spent over $500 on this and an additional battery. What a waste of money. This thing is nothing but a toy. Can't clear any appreciable about of snow. Just purchased a real snow blower this time, a 28" 3 stage blower. No more fooling around.
Pros: Easy To Use, Quiet, Light Weight, Easy To Store
Cons: Low Quality, Expensive

Wilbur,
Good Morning,

We are very sorry to hear of the issues with the Snow Joe iON. While the battery operated snow blowers are great for smaller areas and light fluffy snow, they tend to struggle with clearing heavy wet snow and that can also tend to run down your battery run time as well.

Thank you

"Have no complaints about my purchasing experience with Snow Blowers Direct. I am, however, very disappointed in this toy snow blower. I should have known that it couldn't do the job I needed done."

Will Keep Whole Yard Free Of Snow
I bought two Snow Joes. 1-18" and 1-21" and ever since then my whole yard has been snow free! And I live in central Mn. And it is Dec. 25th. Even though I have yet to use them, they have worked great in 2015!

Easy, Effective And Quick
After receiving the snow blower I had it assembled in 10 minutes. While the battery came partially charged it took thirty to sixty minutes to fully charge it off of a standard 110V outlet. I have used it once on a 2 inch powdery snow. It worked very well.

It does not throw the snow far but effective enough to clear the 2 car wide driveway in very short order. I like the fact of stopping the blades to turn and the quick restart. The battery was hardly phased with 15 minutes of the first... more

Blowing Snow In Indiana
I have used the blower twice since purchasing. The first time the snow was about 6 inches and fluffy and the blower handled it fine. I have a 2 car drive way maybe 25 feet long and maybe 100 feet of sidewalks to clear.

The second time was a few inches of wet, compacted snow. The blower could clear it but not as easily as the first time, which I expected based on my previous use of a 20 inch MTD gas snow thrower.

My only disappointment re purchasing is the cheap wheels, all plastic, and... more

Love At First Sight
We received this as a gift for Christmas and have been in love with it since we put it together. It takes up little to no room in the garage, it is easy to use and powerful as can be. The only thing I wish that I could change in the design is the door to the battery. It does pop open more than we would like it to while using the equipment.
If you are considering a purchase, buy this, you will love it!
