The Quincy replaces a 45 year old Craftsman of the same hp and CFM. The motor is adaptable to 240V which was done to keep it on a dedicated circuit in the garage.
Running at either voltage, the compressor ran 3 min and 20 sec to reach 120 psi. (50 degrees ambient temp). The Craftsman was louder and was falling apart. It would reach 120 psi in 2 min and 20 sec.
