Cheap
I purchased this unit about 3 years ago. The first day I had it, it sucked a rock into the drive belt through a little hang down part they have under the blower housing. burnt up the belt. Put on another belt, went a town over to clear the mother in laws drive way, got a chunk of ice in the belt somehow an burnt it up again.

I parked it in between snow storms, and the carburetor leaked the gas into the crank case and screwed up the valves when I was trying to use the electric starter. ... more

This Machine Is Doing Everything It Should With Ease.
I bought this machine due to a unbelievable discounted price as a not being produced or considered non stock item currently $ 260 out the door, not 6,7,8 hundred dollars.

It works and runs like a dream. I have cleared over 18 inches of snow in just two snow events. Found one cable that needed to be popped in it's slot, that was it. Oliles Dept Store. Great buy!!!!!!!!
Pros: Durable, Features, Price, Exceeded Expectations
Cons: Heavy, Durability to be determined

Biggest Waste Of Money
I have owned this snow thrower for 4 years. Thin metal housing. Poor design to engage auger and drive wheels. Burns thru belts. Engine starts every time.

But when it snows and I am in the middle of clearing the snow and the belt breaks I have to shovel. I wish I would have spent more on a more reliable machine. Stay clear of this one!!!

Cons: Low Quality, Unreliable, Durability

Absolute Junk
I bought the Powerland PDST24 a couple years ago, first time I used it, it broke down after 10 minutes. I had to get a new friction wheel and replace it. This year is the first time I've needed it since. It ran 2 hours and now needs a new gear box.

It's made in China, and it's total Junk. Instructions on the Choke are backwards. The fuel tank leaks, the rubber and plastic parts in and out of the carburetor have fallen apart and have to be replaced. It's really not safe to use, if it ran long... more

Ok If You Use It Once A Year, For 5 Minutes
I bought this 3 years ago. The first 3 feet I used it, something jammed the pulley and it shredded the belt. I took it to do the mother in laws drive way, and it started burning the new belt, a rock had gotten in there from somewhere. Last year it kept flooding out the 1 time I needed it. This year, today on the first snow of the year, I went to get it, it spews gas out of the carburetor where it attaches to the machine. The gaskets are bad. It did start for a second, and is spewing gas and... more
