The Cub Cadet FT24 front tine garden tiller is ideal for existing garden and flower beds or new patches of loose or soft soil that you want to turn into your own little farm or nursery. You’ll be able to get around tight corners and maneuver through narrow rows in your garden with ease.

The Cub Cadet FT24 front tine garden tiller features a powerful Cub Cadet 208cc 4-cycle engine, with tilling power similar to a larger rear tine rototiller. You will also appreciate the drag stake, which... more

Love It
Was a little nervous about ordering a tiller online but it was delivered on time. They called me and I met the delivery truck, the driver helped me load it in my truck.

Got it home it was well packed, took about an hour to assemble only because I didn't read the instructions first.

Pour in the oil, gas her up and it started on the first pull tilled about an acre the first day. Checked the oil everything fine love it used every day last 2 weeks

Don't Buy
Bought this tiller 7 years ago, have approx 25 hrs on it . Bearing has went out on the transmission and it's more expensive to fix than replace. I will not buy another cub cadet and do not recommend it to anyone.

Gets The Job Done!
Bought an FT24 six years ago and until today.. she's been a ground breaking beast every year. Today the chaincase housing split open and collapsed. For all the work it's done around the property, I'll happily replace it. It has a seal seamed case and not meant to be opened (crimped). It's not aluminum, so it can be welded.

When digging new ground it does like to bounce when encountering roots, being that it is light. Keep the tines sharp and it does a wonderful job mulching the ground up. ... more

Wild Bill
Got the delivery of the tiller, easily ready to get going and does a great job of tilling new earth and eats right through the tough stuff, enjoying the machine, totally happy with it.

Does The Job
Bought this tiller for different jobs around my property. Works well and starts up easily. Is best suited for soils without a lot of rocks or roots. works well for gardens that are already established., but will also be good for a new garden as long as there is not a lot of rocks or tree roots.

The wheels in back are not your best as far as stability but they do the Job. Plenty of power and tines seem to hold up well. I use it for my garden Cleaning out my irrigation ditch and for smoothing... more

Mr.
I have arthritis and I needed a tiller that I could handle without the need to exert a lot of strength. This one fit the bill and had a reverse so I did not have to drag it around like other tiller. I have been very satisfied with the quality and how easily it cut through the hard soil we have here.

Best All-a-round Tiller
As a cultivating and preparation tool is best because of reversing feature (applicable to cultivating use) and (w/ awareness of principles of forces involved) can be slowed to accomplish even "primary" breaking of ground. If one feature could be exploited, it might be further reduction in tine RPM's present FT24 I'm replacing was run almost exclusively at 33% and LOWER idle settings. I'm not aware of "small engine" limitations but "lugging" automotive, truck and... more

Great Little Workhorse!
The Cub tiller tackled dirt that hadn't been turned In many many years without any problem. The handles are shaped for easier holding and the dead man switch really provides a sense of safety that is real. The first thing you do when you freak out is you let go and this kills the motor instantly. Yea!

The wheels have enough play that it keeps the operator in charge of where it's going and not forcing it into a position to damage the unit. Again, yea! One of my better Internet selections... more

Specs Are Not True-very Disappointed
Spent days shopping around to find American made tiller. Specs stated made in America. Upon delivery, stamped on box, made in China. I am very disappointed. Could of saved $150.00 and bought other brand locally that was made in china with same size motor and quality. This is what I get for ordering online. haven't tried tiller out yet it better be super good.

Nancy,
We apologize for the confusion. Many companies have started assembling products in the USA with parts from all over the world. Some will assemble products in multiple locations.

This is an excellent front tine tiller though. Please let us know if you run into any problems once it's used. I expect you will be happy with this Cub Cadet.
